Jack’s Senior Session at the Historic Old Penitentiary |Boise Senior Photographer

One of my favorite parts of being a Boise Senior Photographer is capturing truly unique senior sessions that highlight each senior’s personality and passions. Jack’s senior session at the historic Old Idaho Penitentiary was exactly that- a perfect blend of character, history, and a touch of edge that made his photos stand out.

Jack is graduating from Mountain View High School this year, and what an exciting milestone this is for him and his family! Jack isn’t just an incredible student; he’s also a talented musician. His love for music shines through in his easygoing demeanor and artistic spirit. It was so fun to incorporate that creative side into his senior portraits, making this session truly personal to who he is right now.

Adding an extra layer of fun to Jack’s story is the fact that he is a triplet! He has two wonderful sisters who adore him!

The Old Idaho Penitentiary was the perfect backdrop for Jack’s senior photos. The historic stone walls, rustic textures, and moody light gave us so many interesting spots to capture portraits. Jack brought his laid-back style and cool confidence to every shot, making my job as a Boise Senior Photographer an absolute breeze.

As another group of incredible seniors prepares to toss their caps and step into the next chapter, I’m reminded how much I love freezing these fleeting moments. Jack, thank you for trusting me to capture this milestone-you have an amazing future ahead, and I can’t wait to see where your music and big dreams take you!
