A Joy-Filled Country Wedding Zoe + Isaiah
Zoe and Isaiah’s wedding day was nothing short of a dream. Set on the stunning Rusk family property just outside of Boise, Idaho, the entire day felt like something out of a storybook. As a Boise wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of capturing many special days, but this one will forever hold a unique place in my heart.
The Rusk property is breathtaking rolling green pastures, big open skies, and the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance. It made for the most beautiful backdrop to celebrate Zoe and Isaiah’s deep love for one another and their unwavering faith in the Lord. From the very beginning of the day, God’s presence was felt in every moment, from the tearful prayers to the joyful vows and heartfelt speeches.
So many of Zoe’s closest friends and family traveled from near and far to be there for her, a true testament to the kind of friend, daughter, and woman she is. One of the most touching parts of the day was witnessing Zoe reunite for the very first time with her pen pal of ten years, Eve, who traveled all the way from Michigan to stand by her side. Their friendship has grown for over a decade through letters, messages, and shared prayers. Eve is such a genuine soul, full of warmth and light the perfect addition to Zoe’s bridal party.
Watching her step into this next chapter with Isaiah, surrounded by such an incredible support system, was truly special.
Zoe has been a dear friend of mine and someone I’ve had the privilege of mentoring in photography over the past few years. Watching her grow in her craft and then getting to document her wedding day was one of the greatest honors of my career.
Her family welcomed me in like one of their own, and I felt so cared for the entire day. It’s no wonder Zoe is such a gem; her roots run deep in kindness and grace.
Golden hour that evening was pure magic. Zoe and Isaiah’s portraits in the summer grass, kissed by warm light, were straight out of a dream.
To be part of a day so full of joy, love was a blessing I won’t soon forget.
