Springtime at the Boise, Idaho, Train Depot is always magical, but this year’s session with the Ivie Jr’s was extra special. I’ve had the absolute joy of capturing these two for several years now, and each session with them feels absolutely perfect! From their senior portraits to their wedding day and now, watching them step into this new season of life as a family of three-it truly makes my heart so full.

The Ivie Jr’s recently moved back to Boise, and I couldn't be happier to have them close by again. Last October, they welcomed the sweetest little bundle of joy, and getting to document this chapter has been such a gift. Seeing them laugh and snuggle with their baby boy at the Train Depot, surrounded by blooming spring flowers and that iconic Boise skyline, reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

It’s been incredible to watch them grow, not just as a couple but now as amazing parents. They are navigating this season with so much grace, joy, and teamwork-their love for each other shines even brighter when they’re loving on their little one. Their smiles are bigger, their laughter comes more easily, and the gentle way they care for their son melts my heart every time.

Sessions like this one make me pause and soak it all in. Sometimes, I truly have to pinch myself that this is my job-capturing genuine moments for people I care about deeply, preserving memories that will be treasured for years to come. It’s more than just taking photos; it’s witnessing stories unfold, love deepen, and families grow right in front of my lens.

I feel so lucky to walk alongside the Ivie Jr’s in every season of their life, and I cannot wait to watch their little guy grow. Here’s to many more moments, laughter, and milestones together!
