A Spring Swan Falls Engagement Session
Spring is a magical time in Idaho, and what better way to celebrate the season than capturing the love between Zoe and Isaiah during their enchanting engagement session at Swan Falls? I met Zoe a few years ago. She shadowed me while building her own photography business. These two met at the Porch in Boise, where their connection was evident from the moment they began chatting. The warmth of their personalities and their shared love for the Lord set the stage for something truly special. Their engagement session was blessed with absolutely beautiful weather, which added to the perfect backdrop we were lucky to have at Swan Falls. The sunshine filtered through the trees, illuminating the stunning scenery surrounding us. As we strolled along the paths, their laughter blended harmoniously with the gentle sound of the flowing water, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and serenity. We chose to time our shoot to capture golden hour, and it did not disappoint. The soft, warm light cast a dreamy glow on everything it touched, making Zoe and Isaiah's love shine even brighter. It’s moments like these that remind me of why I love being a Boise engagement photographer. Being able to witness and document such genuine affection is an honor, and I couldn't have asked for a lovelier couple or a more picturesque setting. Throughout our time together, Zoe and Isaiah's passion for their faith was palpable. Their shared beliefs and values not only deepen their relationship but also radiate in their interactions, making every shot filled with authenticity and connection. As they prepare for their wedding in June, I can’t help but feel excited to capture their next chapter together. Knowing how they met and the journey that has brought them here adds so much meaning to each photo we take. As we wrapped up their engagement session, I felt grateful for the opportunity to tell their story. I can’t wait to document the next phase of their adventure as they say “I do” surrounded by their loved ones. Here’s to Zoe and Isaiah—May your lives continue to shine brightly together!
Some wedding days are beautiful because of the scenery. Others are beautiful because of the people. Carson and Zaidah’s destination wedding at the Kendall Mountain Lodge in Silvertson, Colorado, was the perfect combination of both.
Nestled high in the San Juan Mountains, their wedding took place at a breathtaking ski resort venue overlooking some of the most stunning mountain views Colorado has to offer. As a destination wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings in many beautiful locations, but there was something truly special about this day. Perhaps it was the towering peaks surrounding us, the peaceful atmosphere of Silverton, or the fact that I wasn’t just their photographer-I am also Carson’s aunt.
Watching Carson grow from a little boy into the incredible man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days of his life was an honor I will never forget.
