As a Boise engagement photographer, capturing the beauty and essence of spring during an engagement session is an absolute joy. I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning spring engagement session at Reid Merrill Park in Eagle, Idaho. It was the perfect evening for Julianna and Ethan’s Boise River engagement session. A slight breeze blew through the trees, the trees were in bloom and we had the perfect evening glow. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, considering Idaho’s spring has been so unpredictable. As a Boise Engagement Photographer, I never know what the weather will bring in Idaho!
Julianna and Ethan are planning their Idaho Wedding at the Rustic Gardens in Middleton, Idaho next spring. They will be celebrating with their closest friends and family!
I loved spending the evening with Julianna and Ethan. I loved hearing about their engagement story and how Julianna and Ethan met.
Julianna and Ethan met during college at the South Dakota Mines and are both Electrical Engineers. They work for the same company but have opted to be on separate engineering teams. They met each other through a mutual friend, but never really talked to each other very much, but the Greek Life in college brought the two of them together. Ethan proposed on October 9, 2021, at the Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska! Ethan and Julianna were walking around the botanical garden and then Ethan got down on one knee in the rose garden!
Julianna and Ethan are absolutely perfect for one another and complement each other so well. I loved hearing about their love for concerts and their cat who traveled across the country with them.
Julianna and Ethan, thank you so much for spending the evening with me and inviting me along this journey. I love capturing these moments for my couples who feel more like family. I know that every detail of your wedding is going to be perfect and I can’t wait to celebrate with the two of you as husband and wife!

Watching Carson grow from a little boy into the incredible man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days of his life was an honor I will never forget.
