A Boise Engagement in Fall | Katherine Albertsons Park
I am so excited to share this stunning Boise Engagement Session with you today in Boise, Idaho. I met up with Christi and Rob at the gorgeous Katherine Albertsons Park, and I loved every minute of their Boise Engagement Session. Christi and Rob are some of the sweetest, kind and go-with-the-flow, people that I know. At the begging of Christi and Robs Boise Engagement Session we were a little concerned about the amount of people that were in the park. If you are a true Idaho native you know how busy Katherine Albertsons Park is in the Fall. Unfortunately, I scheduled Christi and Robs engagement session on the same weekend as the local high school’s homecomings!
I made it my goal to find locations within the park that were quiet and offered the stunning evening glow. The weather was absolutely perfect and Mother Nature was definitely showing off. The vibrant Fall colors were in full force. It was the perfect evening for a a Boise Engagement Session. One of my favorite things about being a Boise Engagement Photographer is getting to know my clients before their wedding day.
Rob and Christi originally met about 13 years ago when they were in college. They stated dating about 5 years ago. Rob took Christi on a surprise hiking adventure in the Columbia River Gorge. Once Rob and Christi made it to the top of Multnomah Falls, Rob proposed! It was a day to remember! Rob and Christi ventured to about 10 other water falls that day. Rob and Christi are planning on getting married at the Boise Train Depot! I am so excited to capture their wedding for them.
We had the best time together and I truly enjoyed getting to know Christi and Rob. I could photograph this Boise Engagement Session over and over again!

Nestled high in the San Juan Mountains, their wedding took place at a breathtaking ski resort venue overlooking some of the most stunning mountain views Colorado has to offer. As a destination wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings in many beautiful locations, but there was something truly special about this day. Perhaps it was the towering peaks surrounding us, the peaceful atmosphere of Silverton, or the fact that I wasn’t just their photographer-I am also Carson’s aunt.
Watching Carson grow from a little boy into the incredible man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days of his life was an honor I will never forget.
