I recently had the pleasure of photographing Trinity, a joyful senior from Mountain View High School, during her late summer senior session. With her bright smile and infectious joy, Trinity made the session truly unforgettable. Trinity is gearing up for an exciting new chapter as she will be attending Boise State University next fall. It’s always special to document this pivotal time in a young adult’s life, and Trinity was no exception. Her enthusiasm about her upcoming journey added a vibrant energy to the shoot. Nestled high in the San Juan Mountains, their wedding took place at a breathtaking ski resort venue overlooking some of the most stunning mountain views Colorado has to offer. As a destination wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings in many beautiful locations, but there was something truly special about this day. Perhaps it was the towering peaks surrounding us, the peaceful atmosphere of Silverton, or the fact that I wasn’t just their photographer-I am also Carson’s aunt.
Watching Carson grow from a little boy into the incredible man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days of his life was an honor I will never forget.
