Vivian| Boise Senior Session
What do you get when you when you combine early fall golden hour light, gorgeous wild flowers, bridges and walking paths? You get a dreamy senior session! Vivian’s senior session was absolute perfection. I am slightly obsessed with this senior session. As a Boise Senior Photographer I was jumping for joy inside. From the moment I snapped the first image, I knew this was going to be an amazing session.
I met Vivian and her family at one of my favorite senior portrait locations; Katherine Albertsons Park. Sometimes the park can be a challenge to photograph at because the abundance of people. This particular evening was no exception. After capturing some breathtaking portraits at Katherine Albertsons Park we decided to head over to the Boise Military Reserve. The rolling Boise Foothills, tall grass, fences and wild sunflowers make the Boise Military Reserve a dreamy location for senior portraits.
I thoroughly enjoyed my evening visiting, laughing and capturing Vivian’s senior portraits. Capturing Vivian’s senior portraits was such a joy! Vivian is a stunning young women who is kind, thoughtful and absolutely wonderful to be around.
In just a few months, she’ll walk the Timberline High School graduation stage and make her final decision regarding what path she will take. Will she attend a local college and play volleyball? Or will she decide to take a gap year and explore the world? But, before Vivian walks across the stage, she spent some time laughing with me, smiling for my cameras and reminding me just how wonderful live can be when you’re eighteen, one of the rare times in life when you can have the time of your life and your whole life in front of you at the exact same time.
Thank you for allowing me to freeze these moments for you, Vivian! I feel honored to have been the one to capture this time in your life. I can’t wait to see what path you decide to take-I know you will do amazing wherever you end up! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the scenery. Others are beautiful because of the people. Carson and Zaidah’s destination wedding at the Kendall Mountain Lodge in Silvertson, Colorado, was the perfect combination of both.
Nestled high in the San Juan Mountains, their wedding took place at a breathtaking ski resort venue overlooking some of the most stunning mountain views Colorado has to offer. As a destination wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings in many beautiful locations, but there was something truly special about this day. Perhaps it was the towering peaks surrounding us, the peaceful atmosphere of Silverton, or the fact that I wasn’t just their photographer-I am also Carson’s aunt.
Watching Carson grow from a little boy into the incredible man he is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Being trusted to capture one of the most important days of his life was an honor I will never forget.
